Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Exegeo mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by Fox Innovations LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Exegeo on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.

2. Scripture text

Exegeo uses the American Standard Version (ASV) of the Bible, which is in the public domain. No license is required to read, quote, or share passages from the ASV.

3. Summaries and study aids

Exegeo ships with pre-crafted chapter summaries, thematic outlines, and reading aids bundled directly into the app. They are offered as a study aid and should not be treated as authoritative biblical interpretation. You are responsible for your own engagement with Scripture.

4. Your content

Notes, highlights, and favorites you create belong to you. We do not store, access, or claim any rights in your content. If you sync via iCloud, that content is stored in your private iCloud under Apple's terms.

5. Subscriptions

Exegeo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Key terms:

• Price: $4.99 per month, billed through your Apple ID.
• Free trial: 30 days. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing or canceling: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Family Sharing: Exegeo Pro is eligible for Apple Family Sharing and may be shared with up to five family members.

Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. All payments are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of any third party.
• Interfere with the Service's security or attempt to access it by unauthorized means.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies. Reliance on any content, including the bundled summaries and study aids, is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fox Innovations LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and noted at the top of the page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fox Innovations LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The App Store's own license terms (Apple Media Services Terms) apply in addition to these Terms.
