Delete Your Account
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Exegeo lets you sign in with your Google account to sync your subscription and daily usage across devices. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time.
How to request deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app: open the Profile tab and tap Delete account. This removes your account data right away.
You can also email support@exegeo.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my Exegeo account." We will verify the request and delete your account data within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove from our servers:
- Your account identifier (the Google account ID used to sign in)
- Your subscription status (whether you have Exegeo Pro)
- Your usage data (such as how many chapter summaries you have viewed)
We do not keep your name, email address, or your reading content (notes, highlights, reading history) on our servers beyond what is needed to sign you in.
What is kept
- On-device data such as your notes, highlights, reading history, favorites, and settings is stored only on your device, not on our servers. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
- Purchase records held by Google Play are managed by Google. Deleting your Exegeo account does not cancel an active subscription. To stop billing, cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store (Play Store, then Subscriptions, then Exegeo).
- We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
